About Temporary Flesh
Temporary Flesh utilizes the common chair as an extension of the body, transforming movement into an exploration of existence and identity. Through intricate choreography, the work poses existential questions: Where do we come from? Who created us? Are we merely vehicles for cellular survival? Reflecting the artist’s personal story, as well as collective histories and undefined futures, each chair in the performance symbolizes temporality, carrying its own unique stories, memories, and histories of the past, present, and future.
