adrift// adieu [Work in Process]
Sadah Espii Proctor & Nicholas “Gio” Giovino
Centered around the research collected by Espii and her collaborators during her time as a SKY LAB Artist. adrift//adieu invites guests to step into the research and development process of her immersive sonic and augmented reality installation.
adrift//adieu will feature audio excerpts from recorded stories gathered from community members alongside an exhibition of archival and photographic imagery that was gathered while in residence and has inspired the future development of her work.
adrift//adieu was commissioned through the Onassis Foundation and ONX Studio, with developmental support by NEW INC and New Museum, Hi-ARTS SKY LAB Residency, and Black Public Media. Supporting technology provided by Sony 360 Reality Audio.
