This temporary part-time position will support Hi-ARTS' CRITICAL BREAKS Artist Cheri Stokes during her 2024 Spring Residency. This is an onsite, in-person position taking place partially at El Barrio's Artspace PS 109 in East Harlem (home of Hi-ARTS), and partially at Brooklyn Arts Exchange.

Casting Call | Juniper Performance Studio & National Black Theatre, IN THE NAME OF THE MOTHER TREE
Jupiter Performance Studio and National Black Theatre, and still seeking local artists for, Ebony Noelle Golden's (SKY LAB Alum) IN THE NAME OF THE MOTHER TREE, a movement and music-based theatrical ceremony. This project is an ongoing touring commitment, with the World Premiere taking place in September 2024 at Apollo Theatre. the world premiere of it will be in the new space at the Apollo Theatre in September.
Ideal candidates are local, collaborative, agile dancers, singers, and actors comfortable with rituals and spiritual practices and are comfortable working outdoors/in nature, and with exploring spiritual themes outside of Christianity.
Virtual interviews will begin on March 5, 2024.
